Comedian Griffin wrecks Ferrari:
US Comedian Eddie Griffin totaled a rare Ferrari Enzo, by the producer of
his new film, destroying the car but escaping unscathed.
The 38-year-old actor- comedian was practicing for a celebrity charity
race to promote his forthcoming racing flick film, Redline, when crashed
into a concrete barrier outside Los Angeles.
Daniel Sadek, the film's executive producer, seemed philosophical and
said the car was beyond repair and that he had "mixed feelings"
about the crash. He estimated that the car was worth $US1.5 million
"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK but my dream car got destroyed,"
the real estate investor said. "I went to my trailer for about 15
minutes and I thought, there's people dying every day. A lot of worse
things are happening in the world."
Only 400 Ferrari Enzos were ever produced, all between 2002 and 2004.
Griffin has appeared in a number of comedies including Undercover Brother,
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and its sequel, Date Movie, and Norbit.
Hispaniola hit by heavy floods:

left at least 11 people dead and as many as a thousand homes damaged or

of a teenager who died after a violent encounter with guards at a juvenile
boot camp in Bay County.
